Where We're Going We Don't Need Roads

A West Coast IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at Marble Beers and Crosby Hops.

Where We’re Going We Don’t Need Roads, a throw back to the past!  When West Coast IPA’s were bitter, resinous & piney and our main-man Rob Hamilton was working at the legendary brewery which started his career; Marble Beer.

Brewed to showcase the sometimes forgotten  “C-hops” of Cascade, Chinook & Columbus, from our friends at Crosby Hops®, this collaboration beer was developed by Rob and Marble Beer’s Head Brewer Joe Ince, to be a classically styled West Coast IPA.  It bursts with citrus fruits, held together with a resinous pine bitterness & a balanced malt body.

While many of today’s craft beers are soft, hazy and tropical, this retro style pays homage to days past when De Lorean’s and Flux Capacitors brought us Doc and Marty and IPA’s measured awesomeness in IBUs. The magical artwork draws inspiration from this period. Kate Hartee, head of Media at Marble Beers, took over our Instagram story during the brew day to give us the opportunity to watch lightning strike the clock tower.

Available in cans from the Marble Beers website this beer is definitely one of kind.

We got to chat to Joseph Ince, head brewer at Marble Beers, check out this chat for more information on the collaboration.
